AquaTouch Live Stock
Policy
Healthy livestock is an important key to your
success. It is our mission to provide them for you. AquaTouch employs
state of the art husbandry techniques, used to adapt fish and
invertebrates to the captive environment. We pride ourselves on
providing you with healthy animals. We feel strongly that these are our
pets before they are yours.
However; there are many variables that can occur
after an animal leaves our facility. This includes stress, tank mate
dynamics, poor water quality, aggression, etc.. Because these factors
are out of our control we DO NOT
guarantee our animals after they have been purchased. Consult with an
AquaTouch staff member when making a selection and please choose wisely.

introduction of one of our animals please

as soon as possible.
We guarantee the following:
Shipped Livestock:
-
All of our WYSIWYG rare fish are quarantined at our
support location for a minimum of 21 days prior to being
placed up for sale. They are trained to eat a variety of foods including Flake, Frozen, and
Pellets. Each specimen lists the prepared foods they are eating.
Each fish is packed for a comfortable transit time of 20 hours. Our
specimens are guaranteed for live arrival. Any obvious signs of
container damage do to handling by the shipper should be noted upon
arrival. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to make a claim
with the shipper for any loss due to container damage.
In the
event of a loss on arrival please notify us immediately via email
(within 2 hrs). Take a full frame digital photo of each side of the
specimen, out of water, on a piece of paper. Do not dispose of
the specimen until instructed to do so. Please include any pertinent
information (specimen & package condition, water temp, etc...).
Lastly, let us know if you'd like the cost of the item refunded or
kept on file as credit for a future order. Unfortunately, free
or replacement animals are not included in the guarantee.
In Store Purchases:
Marine Fish:

All of our community fish are quarantined at our
support location for a minimum of 10 to 14 days prior to being
placed up for sale. About 2 1/2 weeks is average. They are trained to eat a variety of foods that
can include Flake, Frozen, and Freeze Dried. Please choose carefully
and consult a staff member with any questions. We are here to help.

Corals and Invertebrates:
-
These animals are acclimated to our systems when
they arrive. Then held for observation during the first 24 hours.
They are available for sale usually the following day. Most newly arrived
corals included traded corals are marked with an "X" on our tanks
before being tagged for sale.

Specialty Animals:
-
Any animal with special needs that does not
conform to the previous categories is given the necessary care. The
management reserves the right to determine what those needs are and
to hold the animal as long as necessary to adapt it to captivity.
