Maui

Of all the Hawaiian Islands Maui
offers the best of both an exotic tropical feel and modern mainland
conveniences. Warm tropical breezes prevail along its southern and
western shores. These are great locations to hop in the water and
observe Hawaii's abundant marine life. Whether just putting on a
mask and fins or suiting up for scuba diving the invertebrate and fish
populations are colorful and diverse.
There are many different coral
reefs to explore on Maui. A good guide and boat access can make off
shore locations accessible. We recommend
Lahina Divers
as a very professional company that has provided us with many memorable
experiences.
Below is a small sampling of the
various fish, coral, and invertebrate species found on Maui. The
photographs also give a sense of the reef formations and communities
that inhabit them. We are very fortunate to have such beautiful coral
reefs only five hours from Arizona.
