Marine World Magazine,
Direct from England!
Marine World Magazine is in it's fourth year of publication. It was founded by
hobbyists and has grown to be the United Kingdom's most
popular saltwater aquarium keeping magazine. It is currently distributed to
Scotland, the Channel Islands, South Africa, New Zealand, and now North America.
This
magazine provides very well written, useful information that can be directly
applied to today's modern saltwater aquariums. With about 60% fish related
content and 40% reef Marine World offers something for everyone. Also of
interest are their company profiles, European fish store advertisements
and
product reviews.
Featured are some authors well known to the American
reef hobbyist including Scott Michael,
Tony Vargas, Bob Fenner, Vincent Hargreaves,
Colin Grist and Bob Goemans. As well as some very knowledgeable experts from the United Kingdom such
as Tristan Lougher, Nick Bryan, and Paul Skinner. These are just
some of contributors that lend their talents to Marine World
Magazine.
MACNA XVI and Marine
World
The 2004 MACNA conference in Boston was the launch point for
Marine World Magazine in the United States. With over 1000 attendees and 100
vendors a large portion of the marine aquatics industry was introduced to the
magazine. Response was incredibly favorable and many of the magazines regular
writers were
there to meet the magazines publisher, Mike Dolan.
